Giuseppe Paolillo was born in Terlizzi on the 3.th of January in 1988. For his artistic production has chosen the name "Stella Polanski". Stella Polanski is an electronic musician from Barletta (Southern Italy) specialising in atmospheric dark ambient/drone. Stella creates atmospheric audio landscapes with a tangible sense of time and place, utilizing layers of guitars, laptop (Ableton Live, Reaktor, Max msp and a lot of pedals), old keyboards and found sounds, having a keen attention to details, is moving along paths close to the dark-ambient. Polanski's music originates with field recordings and guitar loops through which he seeks to capture images in sound inspired by the nature and mostly by the sea that has a great influence on his music. He is strongly influenced by the sound of the artist like Christian Fennesz, Tim Hecker and Brian Eno.
